Orlando Tech Connect Program

Businesses of all sizes and industries are relying on contracts and partnerships with scaling companies to increase their innovation capacity. The Orlando region is rich with scaling companies well prepared to meet the demands of our region’s enterprise company needs to find innovative solutions.

In order to better connect the scaling businesses with available customers and contract opportunities, the Orlando Tech Council, in alliance with the University of Central Florida, have created a new program, Orlando Tech Connect that is designed to create a scalable process to match local company needs with local companies skill sets.

The Orlando Tech Connect program connects buyers and suppliers and facilitates curated connections for opportunity between the companies that will ultimately lead to a more interactive and dynamic ecosystem.

How It Works

• An advisory team of local professionals with experience in the startup/scale ecosystem will recruit companies both at the enterprise and scaling levels that have potential for qualified connections around the technology theme.

• Those companies that are viable options for the enterprise companies participating will be connected with the company representative for initial interviews that may lead to the acceptance in their proof of concept contract or detailed information on how they could improve to be more qualified. Each opportunity will be specific to each company extending the opportunity and matches are not guaranteed.

• The companies that are evaluated as not ready will be delivered a custom feedback report and tangible opportunities including introductions to support organizations specifically selected to help them prepare for the future.

This program seeks to unite the innovation ecosystem in the Orlando region making it easy for local enterprise to connect with companies and innovations in their backyard, leading to more growth for scaling businesses as well as more innovation in the local enterprise business community.
