Supporting the Orlando Economic Partnership’s pillar of talent development, YP:NEXT’s mission is to provide Central Florida’s millennial generation with strategic tools, tactics and knowledge to prepare them for their future of work and leadership. YP:NEXT provides employers the opportunity to immerse rising young employees in professional development programming designed to support regional efforts to attract and retain today’s top talent.
YP:NEXT brings together an inclusive and diverse group of high-performing young professionals under the age of 39 for professional development, networking opportunities and access to key community leaders.
YP:NEXT will reconvene in 2022.
Mentorship Opportunities
In 2017, a volunteer committee comprised of YP:NEXT launched iGRO, a two-month program designed to retain our business community’s summer interns and new hires by showcasing why Orlando is an ideal place to live, work and play.
YP:NEXT members can volunteer on the iGRO committee and/or as a volunteer mentor to an iGRO participant.
